Use this command to align text exactly to the angle of the line it sits above. Object must  be a line, not a polyline.

Type in LTR at the command line.

AutoCAD will prompt

               Select Object:

Select anywhere on the line that you want the text to line up with (line with correct angle)

                Select Object:

Select the text that you want to rotate to your line.
